"I actually dozed off a couple of times and the couple in front of me were passed out; heads back and snoring. They changed the characters to make the children brats, and the parents unlikeable social climbers. Happily, we got a discount on the tickets. But my daughter said she like it so, eh, I guess it was worth it. It was THREE hours, which seems a bit ambitious for a kids' play. Michael Longfellow herself was flat and humorless. I've never read the book so possibly the producers were being loyal to it, rather than the Disney movie, however I LOVED the movie and this...not so much."
